Description

The Eastern Shores School Board is seeking applications from interested candidates for the following position : Staff Assistant for the 2023-2024 school year





  • A Teacher who acts in the capacity of vice-principal in a school where the number of students does not warrant the appointment of a vice-principal.

  • On-call to replace the principal when he/she is not available. From time to time and the principal’s discretion, this might necessitate being substituted from classroom teaching.

  • Stand-in for the principal at lunch hour by dealing with discipline issues and other matters that arise during that time.

  • Leadership in special project/assignments throughout the year beneficial to the school.




Requirements





  • A valid Quebec teaching permit issued by the Minister of Education

  • A minimum of five (5) years teaching experience; at least one (1) year of experience with the Board.
